Los nominados para los Premios Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards 2020 fueron anunciados este jueves por Comic-Con International: San Diego.

Las nominaciones de este año reconocen el mejor trabajo de 2019 en 31 categorías, incluyendo cómics, novelas gráficas, diseño y más, según un panel de jueces.

Los títulos más nominados de 2019 son Ghost Tree y Little Bird, con tres nominaciones cada uno.El artista James Stokoe obtuvo la mayoría de las nominaciones, cinco nominaciones inividuales en total.


IDW Publishing
y Image Comics dominaron en 13 categorías (más una compartida) y 11 (más seis compartidas) cada uno.

Los jueces de los premios Eisner de este año fueron: Martha Cornog, Jamie Coville, Michael Dooley, Alec Grecian, Simon Jiménez y Laura O’Meara.

La votación se realizará hasta el 18 de Junio, con la votación abierta a todos los profesionales de la industria.

Los premios normalmente se anuncian en una ceremonia durante SDCC, sin embargo, debido a la cancelación de la edición 2020, la organización menciona que los ganadores se anunciarán en algún momento del mes de Julio.
